Compared with 2019, China's fossil fuel use will only decline by 6%, and wind, solar, nuclear and other renewable energy will only increase by 5%. By 2060, with fossil fuels accounting for only 14% of the total energy and nuclear and renewable energy accounting for 71% of the energy system, all this will be reversed. It is worth noting that the intermittent renewable energy generated by solar and wind energy accounts for 47% of the total, and battery energy storage will be required to achieve these goals
