Lanthanum carbonate is insoluble in water, acetone and dilute acid. CO2 is released when heated. When heated, basic carbonate is formed first, and then lanthanum oxide is formed by burning. Lanthanum carbonate has high phosphorus binding capacity, and can play a good role in reducing phosphorus in the whole digestive tract. 3.For producing of multilayer ceramic capacitors, Lanthanum Carbonate is also employed as a dopant to reduce the Curie temperature of the barium titanate substrate due to its special properties.
