       The ternary converter (TWC) has always been the main emission control technology for light-duty gasoline vehicles. Combining TWC with an oxygen sensor-based closed-loop fuel delivery system can simultaneously convert three standard pollutants, HC, CO, and NOx generated during the fuel combustion process in spark ignition engines. Active catalytic materials are used as precious metals (for example, Pt, Pd) , Rh) and oxide-based inorganic promoters and thin coatings of carrier materials are present on the inner wall of the honeycomb substrate. The substrate usually provides a large number of parallel flow channels to allow sufficient contact area between the exhaust gas and the active catalytic material without excessive pressure loss.

(3) Moderate particle size distribution: the medium diameter of the material is controlled to be 2.5-3.5 μ m by using air grinding and precise grading technology, and the particle size distribution is narrow, which improves the coating quality and reduces the peeling off rate.
